The King of Swords suggests that you need to adopt a very stern but fair role now. He does not like to take part in any thing based off of emotions. This is a card of duality in many ways, the King is well balanced, compassionate, attentive, sensitive, and just. Do not let your feelings get in the way of your success. Only make decisions when you are in possession of all the facts. Your intellectual activities and the tension you are under are an indirect sign that you are a passionate person. Whether or not you express them, you possess great visions. You are more than capable of accomplishing what you believe is right for you. Ask yourself: Am I exerting discipline in the proper areas of my life?

-Reversed, The Magician tells of a misuse of personal power that will not end well. The Magician’s ability to communicate or articulate his ideas to other becomes blocked now. You may be overlooking certain synchronicities that are pointing to where you desire to be. This being a result of doubt and fear. You are in need of new experiences/ perspectives. Battle these dense energies with in depth planning of whatever it is you are on the journey to accomplishing. Ask yourself where you are focusing your energy. Will it benefit you? You possess a special skill, but haven't exactly put it to use yet. Step out of your comfort zone and do not be afraid for you can change all things with the power of your mind!

"Breaking Free"

-This card was pulled yesterday, upright, and holds a very similar meaning. The figure in the card, is trying to carry 5 swords while 2 are standing straight up in the ground. Every small detail in the cards, carries significance. He is running, but is looking behind while holding the weapons by the blades. A complete contradiction, and painful act. It is apparent that you must handle ALL dealings with great caution. This is a card of mental challenges. You may be having a hard time with taking the first step in a new direction.

Break free from old habits and ways of thinking in order to overcome the blockages that currently stand in your way. Do not blindly run into a difficult situation or a shaky contract. Stay open-minded and flexible so that you can respond to changes wisely.
