The Lovers card can also represent the establishment of a personal belief system and becoming clearer about your own values. This is a time when you are figuring out what you stand for and what your personal philosophy on life is.

Lord Kuthumi is associated with this card. He comes to those who seek knowledge and is influencing our consciousness at this time during our evolution. The appearance of The Magician appearing in a reading suggests that latent powers yet to be brought into manifestation are at your disposal. This should be a time of self development. When fairy tales speak of the fountain of youth, they often portray the same act: stepping deep into the abyss in order to emerge again physically as a new person. Water holds cleansing and renewing powers, you are now given the chance to be reborn and use the tools the Magician has handed to you. Using the tools to connect the two worlds of spirituality and the physical plane, you can now live your best life. We all have the ability to create anything we desire using the law of attraction. According to the author Carlos Castaneda, “ Every so often each one of us is given a cubis centimeter of a chance..using that chance is what makes the difference.” No one can give you your own magical power but no on could ever take it away either.

Algiz is a protective teaching force that promotes independence and autonomy as well as faith. It can speak of a needed sanctuary. Algiz is the rune of the essential link or connection with the patterns of divine or archetypal consciousness. The norns were said to weave the web of Wyrd, in other words, creating the destiny to which we are all individually bound. This blank rune also indicated a change coming your way.

With the energies that these two runes hold encourages us that we are divinely protected in all that we do. Fate has brought you to your divine path. Follow your heart and use the power of your soul to manifest an abundant life.
